Christmas Gifts

What Is the Christmas Village?

Modeled after the open-air Christmas markets most commonly found throughout Europe, this authentic Christmas market includes all the sights, sounds, and smells to transport you to Germany. The 80+ vendors participating in this annual event present their goods to the public in traditional timber booths.

Patrons will enjoy access to international holiday gifts, such as ornaments, jewelry, handmade toys, and high-quality arts and crafts. You’ll also enjoy tasting the flavors of traditional German food and drink. Festive music and daily events are guaranteed to put even the Grinch into the holiday spirit.

Christmas Treats

Eat, Drink and Be Merry

In addition to holiday merchandise, over a dozen food and drink vendors will be in attendance at Christmas Village. Many of these vendors will be selling traditional German and European foods, such as:

  • Bratwurst
  • Lebkuchen (similar to gingerbread)
  • Crepes
  • Austrian strudel

A traditional German Christmas Village isn’t complete without wine and beer. New this year is The Alm beer garden, courtesy of Brewery Techne. Stop in and relax with a pint of locally brewed beer. Be certain to stop by one of the special booths set up by Chaddsford Winery. Their hot mulled wines are sure to keep you warm once Jack Frost starts rolling into town.
