Warning Lights

Warning lights are extremely helpful because they can alert you to a malfunction or other problem you may otherwise not notice.

When you see one of these lights on in your Sorento, you will want to have the issue fixed as soon as possible.

Brake Fluid Warning Light: When there isn’t enough fluid in your braking system, you may see an exclamation point inside a circle light up on the dashboard. What you will want to do is check your brake fluid level and add fluid if needed. If the light remains on even after you fill your Sorento with brake fluid, you may have a leak. In this case, our technicians can help identify where the leak is coming from and fix it.

Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light: What looks like an old oil can dripping oil, this light is letting you know you are low on engine oil. This oil is crucial to the performance of your vehicle’s engine. This warning light may be telling you that your Kia Sorento is due for an oil change, which we can quickly do for you here at our service center.

Other warning lights include your Charging System Warning Light that looks like a battery and signifies that the battery or alternator needs to be replaced. There’s also the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light, which looks like an exclamation point inside a horseshoe and shows that one of your tires is underinflated and possibly leaking.
